What's rude, is that FN apparently has it's readers drooling on themselves... over the first recipe we learned in grade school cooking class.

I found the bread to be done a little nicer if, before assembling the sandwich, you first brown - with a small amount of butter - the side of the bread which will eventually be smothered in mayo.
