Reviewed Individual Peach Upside-Down Cake

"Just made these this morning and I think they are great. Learned that I need to follow Alton's instructions and let them cool at least 5 minutes before taking them out of the ramekins. What you get is a very soggy cake if you don't let them cool. Also, I would leave them in the oven longer than suggested to make sure they are a little golden on to"

Reviewed Individual Peach Upside-Down Cake

"Just tried this recipe and think it has a lot of potential for variations. I would have given it five stars but thought some things needed tweaking. Read other reviews and cut down on the cyrstalized ginger. Glad I did as 1/3 was just enough but more would have overpowered the taste. Like that you can use almost any type of fruit for this. Reviewed Spinach Stuffed Zucchini

"Really great use of zucchini. I also made it my own by modifying the fat content. I replaced stuffing with two slices of wheat toast crumbs, low-fat sour cream, and reduced fat cheese. The fact is a good base recipe can be changed to accomodate different diets. If I made it as stated, I believe it would have been even tastier. I enjoy watching Paula cook and believe she has some fabulous ideas that anyone can use by replacing lower fat items if one decides to do so. Thanks Paula, as a mother of two adult sons who both like to cook, I love watching you and your boys in the kitchen. It warms my heart.

Reviewed Grilled Pepper Crusted T-Bone Steaks with Worcestershire-Chive Butter

"Believe it or not I made this recipe for Thanksgiving.
I didn't use the chiles on the steaks and instead I seared them with Montreal seasoning and finished them in the oven with the worcestershire and chive butter. This butter is so amazing. The steaks came out medium rare, juicy, tender, and packed with great flavor-fabulous! Everyone at the table was very happy.

Reviewed Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Great recipe. Nice texture and flavor-crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. This will be my new go-to chocolate chip cookie. Also, made a lot more than 4 dozen.

About Me

I enjoy feeding people. It's very satisfying when you work hard on a recipe and you know that those who've tried it like it. I watch food network frequently. Giada is my favortie chef. I like the mediterranean style of cooking best-olive oil is healthier than butter, however butter does make everything taste better! Cheers!
