I modified this by using a 16 ounce can of San Marzano tomatoes and used the juice as well. Not the best version of puttanesca, but for a quick throw together it was surprisingly good. If you're looking for a really good puttanesca you need to try Jamie Oliver's version. "

I saw this on Paual's show and am always looking for a new beef recipe as my husband is a big beef fan. I followed this recipe almost to a T, and it was very good. Only change I made was to use one can of beef broth instead of the water as many others have suggested.
