OUTSTANDING!!! My family loved them. I smoked them on my green egg for about an hour instead of just 20 minutes. I think the next time I may just completely smoke them or at least longer to get a bit more smoky flavor in them.

Be sure you pay attention to the fact that only 1/2 cup of the "House Seasoning" goes into the batter. I ruined my fish by incorrectly following mixing all the seasoning into the batter.

I tried it a 2nd time and it was awesome.

1 cup of salt is ridiculous. I knew better when I read it, but decided to follow it any ways. I LOVE salt and have to be careful not to salt things too much. I had to smother this fish in tarter sauce, lettuce and tomato to kill the salt. As soon as I tasted how terribly salty it was, I added another 1/2 beer and cup of flour to try and dilute it.
