It was ok. I think it is worth trying again though. We don't have a gas stove so we just used a skillet but I believe we charred them to long becasue they were very mushy and nearly impossible to stuff once we put them in the plastic bag. So note to self do not char as long. Otherwise it will be tried again.

This was a great soup!! My husband is from Mexico and couldn't believe how good it was. The first time I made it I had to cook the soup longer than 20 min. because the rice was not cooked. It took about an hour. The second time I cooked it I was going to double the recipe and did 1 lb of ground beef & 1 lb of ground turkey. Not recommended. The...
