My Activity

Reviewed Goody Girl Championship Potatoes

"This dish was serious Money! Great taste and the crab boil was a great addition to the potatoes. If your not a fan of heat, then I would suggest using 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper or less. Great for tailgating.

Reviewed Honey-Garlic Chicken Wings

"These were very tender and tasted good. I added some toasted seasame seeds after plating for presentation and used less water..it turned out great..nice and tender and sticky! Nevertheless, if baking in the oven it is a little time consuming.

About Me

I come from a family that is well known in the Sci-Fi Genre and also a foodie fanatic that really enjoys cooking. I am self-taught and started my cooking experience in the kitchen learning to bake with my grandmother when I was 5 years old. I enjoy entertaining family and friends in which sometimes referred to as the "Host with the Most".  I'm always looking to try new recipes and apply some innovation to them and hoping to Mind Meld my passions for cooking.

My favorite TV shows are that on the Food Network Channel, Travel Channel and the new Cooking Channel. I am fascinated with cookbooks, however the best one ever is the one is a 3rd generation cookbook that my grandmother had passed down. The funny thing is, I would rather watch a cooking show than anything else...well ok, maybe that is not all true. Can't forget my Geeky Sci-Fi shows.

Favorite Foods

I absolutely love food that has heat to it..!  Just about every dish I cook has some sort of pepper or spice that brings the heat on...! Big Bite style as Guy would say!

My favorite dish to cook - Linguine with white clam sauce

Favorite Foods - Everything, however I am not as brave as Andrew Zimmerman on the Travel Channel.
