Replied to beef and cheddar casserole

Mar 16, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I did not find ours dry, but its also not over saucy either....I did drain the meat cause I did not want all that fat drippings in the mix. I thought it was fine with drained meat, but did notice the directions did not tell you to do that. I did it anyway cause think its gross otherwise.

I will admit I was skeptical and did not expect to be pleased, but I was wrong. This dish was surprisingly tasty for very little effort. The ingredients are basic and practically had everything on hand. Skipped the pepper because my kid does not like and I did not feel like listening to it tonight. Everything else I made per recipe and it was...

It was flavorful and good, but somehow mine ended up with more broth and it was more stew-like. It was fine I just thickened it up with flour. Might try to cut back on the beef stock next time to see if thickens on its own. Worth a try - the carmelized onions did add a deep flavor over just tossing everything in a oven bag to bake. This took a...

It was good. Easy and quick. I used the entire container of ricotta because I was not able to do anything else with the 16oz container anyway and it seemed to need it for the sauce. I used hot turkey sausage verse pork - but I doubt that made a difference to flavor. I kept the peas whole verse smashing - I did not see the sense in smashing perfectly...

Very good. Easy for a weeknight meal if your a working family. Even quicker because I skipped the unnecessary step of the skewers. I simply placed large chunks of meat and veggie in a large zipper bag and tossed with flavored olive oil, salt and pepper and then dumped directly on grill grate. The chunks were large so they did not fall through "

Followed recipe exactly except needed to use 8x8 pan and I reduce the sugar in all my sweet recipes by 1/4. Came out tasty, but I was worried because it took 1 hour before the middle was not wet any longer. I was fearful the rest would be dry and thankfully it was not. This was blueberry muffin like on steroids - so much blueberries in every bi"

Very good. Super tasty. Great weeknight meal as it is quick to prepare. I used the grill as its Summer grill season and everything came out great. I put the ham slices on cooked chicken and melted the mozz cheese on top. Assembled right at the grill and served. I used spicy mustard on one side and mayo on the other and was plenty of flavor f"

When I make this recipe it is hands down my best. It does not turn out too runny or watery - I think the no boil noodles do that trick. Also the homemade pasta suace is easy and tasty...the sweet sausage is a nice change from hamburger or the hot spice sausage. I have made this dish twice so far and love it enough to write a review. Also our f"

A very good and quick pasta sauce that has lots of flavor for a quick weeknight meal. Sauce did not require hours on the stove like traditional 'Sunday Sauces'. I was hesitant about adding the heavy cream thinking I did not want to ruin it, but DO NOT SKIP it was a small add, but added lots of creaminess and made the sauce more blush than red. "

If you don't like olives then you will probably not like this dish. We tried it...although not olive fans we thought it would be okay cause there is not many, but it was just too over powering for us. I liked the idea of a light sauce tossed with tomatoes, but will pass on the olive caper part. "
