After I tweaked this recipe to what I had on hand, it was awesome! I didn't have any beer in the house, but had a nice Cabernet. I used 2 cups, in place of the beer. I also added a chopped turnip. It turned out great. Instead of serving it as a stew, I removed the short ribs and placed,them on a platter. I used a slotted spoon to remove the veg"
