Reviewed Soba Noodle Salad
"I made this last night for supper; and it was a hit! I love soba noodle salad with peanut dressing, but my husband cannot eat peanut butter. I was happy to see this recipe on TV yesterday, using almond butter instead. That way, we both could have something delicious!
Oh - I did add about a pound of shrimp to the recipe, and partially cooked the r"
Reviewed Chicken Pot Pie
"Made this last night; and it was a hit! I used meat from a rotisere chicken; as we like dark as well as white meat. The pastry crust was so good. Ina's recipes are always excellent!
Just a side note - it was great to see her last week in Hartford, Ct. She is just as genuine in person as she is on TV."
Reviewed Crispy Grilled Chicken Thighs
"This was delicious! I took the skin off the chicken, and baked it in the oven at 400."
Reviewed Double Hot Chocolate
"How could you not love this? It was very chocolately, and not too sweet. I did not use the vanilla beans or cinnamon stick. Will definitely make again! Thanks Ina!"
Reviewed Maple-Oatmeal Scones
"I'm giving this a triple WOW! I made these Thanksgiving morning for breakfast, and they were tender and flaky. I made 1/2 a recipe, and had plenty for the next day's breakfast. I will be making these as gifts for the holidays. Thank you Ina for such wonderful recipes!"
Reviewed Penne with Braised Short Ribs
"I made this the other night, and WOW was it delicious! Made the recipe as is; I think the mustard lends a creaminess to the sauce.
Tastes just as great the next day. Thanks Giada!"
Reviewed Chocolate Cupcakes and Peanut Butter Icing
"I made these for a gathering, and they were delicious! Not dry at all, and the frosting was light and not too sweet. I used 1/2 light brown sugar and 1/2 dark brown sugar because I did not have enough of the light. I also used chunky peanut butter (Skippy) for the frosting instead of creamy. Ina's recipes never disappoint!"
Reviewed Cherry Almond Crisp
"I am making this tonight for company. I took a little taste beforehand, and boy, is this good! I used sliced almonds instead because I did not have any slivered ones. As one reader said, the almonds and extract make this! I'm glad to know that I can make this any time. Ree's recipes are right up there with Ina! ""
