"My family loved this recipe. It took me one hour and 20 minutes from chopping the onion to getting it in the oven. After reading the reviews I initially did not put in the whole tablespoon of cinnamon, however, when I tasted the meat/tomato mixture I decided it needed something more so I put a couple more sprinkles of the cinnamon and that did the trick. I went ahead and added an additional garlic clove and more thyme to add more flavor to the meat mixture - it was fabulous. I couldn't find the small shells so I used orecchiette instead (took longer to cook). I will def. be making this again!
