Tyler Florence makes me look like a southern belle with this recipe. His recipes are foolproof and delicious. It may look complicated but if you aren't intimidated to make a roux then it's pretty easy. I did substitute whole milk for the heavy cream in the grits and I wasn't able to find stoneground white cornmeal so I used yellow instead. I love "
