My Activity

Reviewed Guacamole

"Not bad but far too many ingredients. It's common for those not from the Southwest to make guacamole far too complex. Avocado is a wonderfully delicate fruit and the flavor is easily overpowered. All you need is a little garlic, a little lime juice and salt. "

Reviewed Salsa

"Not bad but kind of odd. Good salsa is much simpler. All it needs is tomato, garlic, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime and salt. Maybe some ground black pepper and a dash of oil and that's it. Red bell pepper and ancho are completely unnecessary."
