Reviewed Grilled Portobello Mushrooms with Tomatoes and Fresh Mozzarella
"DELISH! And so EASY! I broiled the portobellos after brushing them with evoo that I added some seasonings to. I didn't have fresh mozz, so I used shredded. I put the garlc in the evoo for a little while to flavor it, then added 1 chopped plum tomato, salt and pepper, and a splash of balsmic vinegar. Just before ready to top the mushrooms, I added some shredded mozz.
I put the mushrooms with the topping back under the broiler for just a minute or 2. I served with thin spaghetti and crusty bread and it was loved by the whole family! Will be making this again and again!
Reviewed Marinated Grilled Flank Steak with BLT Smashed Potatoes
"DELICIOUS flank steak!! Second time I made this it was PERFECT! I marinaded the steak in a zip-loc in the fridge for about 6 hours. (I think you could even go as little as 2 or 3 hours, but comparing 2nd time to 1st time, I don't think the 15 minutes as stated in the recipe is long enough.) We grilled it on high for 5 minutes each side, let it rest 10 minutes before slicing (Remember: Against the grain!), and it was sooo good - melted in our mouths! I will make this again and again.
