Reviewed round 2 recipe - stuffed peppers

Nov 11, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I loved the mushroom salad separately, but don't think it went well with these peppers. I love so many different kinds of stuffed peppers, and this was my least favorite of any stuffed pepper recipe I've tried.

I wasn't sure about the rice salad, especially because I don't like mushrooms, but this was delicious!

These are my new favorite. It really didn't look like I was going to be able to get them out of the pan because they were so delicate but after freezing for 20 minutes they were fine! I used Ben & Jerry's pina colada ice cream because I couldn't find plain coconut and that tasted great!

Delicious! I get lingonberry preserves at IKEA (you can order them through IKEA online too.)

I toasted the bread as some reviewers recommended, and the top layer was nice but the bottom layer was still mushy. Both my husband and I agree that we'd rather just have plain french toast."

I thought these burgers were very original and flavorful. When I added the wine I thought it looked like a lot, but it was just right. I'm not a huge fan of thyme, so next time I make this will probably use less, but the flavors went great together. I was going to try pate but couldn't find it at the store, but I don't think I missed anything!"

I tasted them before breading and finishing them and thought they tasted just as good at that point, minus the extra time and calories. The final product didn't turn out crispy for me- one side was a little soggy. I will make them again, but I think I'll try finishing them in the oven next time."

Reviewed Fettuccine With Quick Ragu

Good basic pasta sauce. I think sausage might have given it a bit more flavor, I might try that next time. I wasn't sure I would have enough for 3 cups leftover so I measured carefully and it came out almost perfectly- 2 meals, 4 servings each. Love that!""

Good but not necessarily a dip...we ate it on sandwiches and I think I'd just as soon save the chopping time put those ingredients on a sub.""

Mar 27, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I was so excited about this recipe, because I live in Spain and we don't have sour cream, I always have to substitute crème fraiche, and this recipe actually called for crème fraiche. The potatoes were really good, but I don't think they actually needed to cook quite so long, after 45 min. or so they were already tender and delicious."

I used butternut squash, with dried rosemary but the rest of the recipe the same. Turned out really well, and felt great to snack on, knowing it's healthy! Especially because I don't normally like squash."

Definitely take other reviewers advice on adjusting the dijon and the garlic. I wish I had! As it is, the dijon was way too intense. I did really l like the idea of wrapping the burger in foil and pressing it with 2 pans- that worked out great w/ easy clean up!

Very good- loved the cream cheese in it, and I love how versatile it is! Next time I'd add a jalapeno to make it a little spicier. Also, we enjoyed it with tortilla chips, but I don't think the shredded cheese on top was necessary. And I love the idea of serving it over rice, we'll def. try that with the leftovers!

If you're sensitive to vinegar be careful! I used exactly the amount in the recipe and found that that's all I could taste.
