Replied to two meat chili with scallion cornbread

After you cook the bacon you were suppose to cook the onions and spices in the bacon fat and then add the bacon to the chili when it is cooking.The recipe never metions bacon in the cornbread but I guess you could. Just a note to your is very good!!

Love the flavor, but mine seemed a little greasy and not hard. I even added cook time. I used thick cut bacon maybe that was the reason. I think I will drain the fat off the bacon after it cooks before I add the nuts next time. Great idea and did eat all of it but I wanted to give it as a gift and I thought it would look greasy in a jar so I didn'"
