Reviewed Paula Deen Savannah High Apple Pie

"This pie IS AMAZING. I've made it multiple different ways, and I've been asked by friends and family to bake it every Thanksgiving and now for Christmas. I usually make the "half-mile high" pie and only use 12 apples instead of 24. I don't decrease any of the other ingredients though. It is so delicious and awesome. I've also used store bought crusts. I buy 4 crusts and roll two together for the top and two together for the bottom. It works great when you don't have the time or desire to make a homemade crust. Believe me, it took a little while to be able to "flip" the mixture into the pie plate without getting it everywhere, but after a little practice it works well. TRY IT!!! IT'S SO DELICIOUS YOU WON'T WANT ANOTHER APPLE PIE AGAIN...EVER!!!
