My Activity

Reviewed Easy Peasy Split Pea Soup

"i made some modifications to this recipe - as i do to most recipes. You really shouldn't say that there's no flavour because you should always flavour to taste. My modifications: i used regular thick cut bacon and cooked it until crispy. i added two large russet potatoes as a thickening agent and it definitely made the soup even more tasty! and the final modification i made was that i didn't put any cumin into the soup. Overall this soup was UBER delicious!

Reviewed Cream of Leek and Potato Soup

"I made this soup with chicken stock and it definitely needed it. I thought from the start that it was strange that there was no stock used. I agree its missing something BUT you cooking is about combining flavours that you know will work. SO....pepper, onion powder - whatever you think works. Overall this soup is fragrant and CAN BE very tasty
