My Activity

Reviewed Tomato Feta Pasta Salad

"So, so good! Hands down one of the best pasta salads I've ever eaten. No longer will I pour bottled Italian dressing over cold noodles again as a picnic side dish. I'm going to try adding basil and pepperoni next time.... Mmmm.... Thank you Ina! Your recipes are always great and this one will be one of my regulars. "

Reviewed Stracotto (Pot Roast with Porcini Mushrooms

"Loved it! Very tender and full of flavor. Used a three pound roast and it was delicious. I added a little extra broth to thin out the sauce. This recipe is hands down a keeper!

Reviewed Pork and Rice Quesadillas with Orange Salsa

"This was a delicious dish! I didn't feel like fussing with a pork loin so I substituted some chopped bacon slices instead and just used a little extra rice. Also used sundried tomato spread. The orange salsa was delicious! Very colorful and flavorful dish. I think this would also taste great vegetarian. Will make again!

Reviewed Salted Caramel Banana Pudding Pie

"MMMMM!!! This pie was so good! Saw the show this morning and I had to run out and get the ingredients to make it! The salted caramel and almond extract flavors really make this pie a HIT! My only complaint is I found it a bit labor intensive for a pie that is going to fall apart when you cut into it. Next time I'll try making it as a layered dessert in a square baking dish so I won't have to fuss with trying to cut perfect slices. THANK YOU Food Network for making a show just for us dessert lovers!!!!

Reviewed Meatless Shepherd's Pie with Horseradish-Cheddar Potatoes

"The mushrooms and rosemary combination was a hit! This recipe is rather labor intensive, but worth it. My only complaint: three cups of stock is a bit much (as the mushroom mixture was very soupy despite making a roux). I'll adjust accordingly next time.
