I only had plain cream cheese so maybe that's why it was so bland. If I ever make it again I'll use the right cream cheese and mix it all together instead of layering."

WAY too much trouble for the outcome. I followed the recipe to the tee but didn't use the prunes since we aren't crazy about sweet meat. It took an hour and a half before I put it in the oven (between the prep of the veggies and the meat. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good but for the trouble it just wasn't worth it. There was a lot of sauce....

I thought this was lacking in flavor. I even added 3 extra cloves of garlic and more than a pinch of red pepper. Considering the cost of shrimp, I doubt I'll ever make this again. And I made a special trip to Trader Joe's for the Charles Shaw wine recommended below."
