This chowder is really exceptional! I highly recommend this recipe-- I even lighten it up, and it is delicious. I used homemade chicken broth-- cook up those rotisserie chicken bones people, add any veggies in that crisper drawer, water, and just let it simmer w/ some S & P, strain. I let my broth cook while I get the soup going. Fresh sweet corn"

This is so delicious! I made for a party last week and have a shortcut for the garlic toast if you are serving several people. I put cloves of garlic and olive oil in food processor, and brushed on the bread, then stuck them on the grill--and threatened my husband that he better not burn one. OMG Giada this is delicious!!! I love the combination of flavors--just excellent. I'm going to use this for a dinner party I'm having soon.
