Reviewed roasted lemon chicken legs

Aug 12, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I really wanted to like this right out of the gate, but a couple of the reviews had me a little concerned about the lemony flavor not being pronounced enough. I made a couple of minor tweaks...I used 3 lemons for 15 legs but kept the garlic and the oil the same as written for 24. Before juicing the lemons, I zested them & added that to the bag....

Wow.... just Wow. We do not eat a lot of fried food.... & we do not eat a lot of fish.... & we hardly use catfish because I'm the one who shops & I don't really care for it... but now, all that has been shattered. The seasonings.... they were totally the key to this for me... they really had a great impact on the flavor of the fish......

Fantastic. I made these in a pinch when I didn';t have a box of lemon poppy seed muffin mix around. I used muffin tin liners & regular milk since I didn';t have yogurt or butter milk on hand. I was not able to get my whites to soft peaks & I was running out of time to try, so they went into the mix rather foamy & that was all. They ca...

Very, very good! We all loved it... a little something for everyone...a little savory, a little sweet. Apple was a nice change from the usual slaw... but still crisp... interesting! I wasn't sure how it would go over, so I 1/2'd the dressing... used 1/2 bag of preshredded coleslaw mix & 1/2 large Fugi apple as the reviewer below suggested. Just"

Wow. I like meat loaf. My family does not. This is the first time we ALL liked it.... and I think it was the lack of ketchup!!! I didn't do the garlic sauce.... the herbs & veggies + the mixture of meats + salt & pepper (I thought it was going to be too much... but it wasn't)... the panko panade....just everything came together to make a simpl"

First time making creme brulee...last night for Valentine's Day. Wow... Don't know why I was ever intimidated to make this! Very easy!! Not fussy at all!! A couple of things... I don't know what size ramekins I used... but all the mixture fit snuggly into 4 of them. I wasn't sure if they were too full or not. So I will measure those in the fu"

Very easy, very good. Made for Valentine's Day... easy to do on the stove/oven...didn't want to run between grill & stove for all the other dishes. Will make again, but need to probably brown the sides of the steak to cook the bacon a tiny bit more..."

I can only fairly rate this on the filling... and directions for assembling & baking.... I am a pizza dough chicken... and decided to use my tried & true recipe off the back of a package of "pizza yeast." We absolutely LOVED these.... made them for my kids.... one of whom refuses to try anything new or green without putting up a huge fight. The "

Quick & easy for one of my budding cooks at home to make. We just made one very large chicken breast for the 3 of us (almost a pound... and adjusted veggies by 1/2...& used a homemade taco spice mix. This made 4 small sized quesadillas... I chopped the chicken & veggies smaller because of the size of the tortillas we had on hand... It took longe"

Wow. WOW. Having moved away from south FL nearly 10 years ago, this is probably one of the things I've missed the most. I do not recall having had powdered sugar icing drizzled over the top from the Cuban bakeries, so I skipped that step. I did throw a sprinkle of turbanado sugar on top before baking. I just opened the dough flat onto a boar"

Unbelievably delish. I didn't use wine (decided to drink that cup or so that remained in the bottle) and cracked open a 32 oz carton of broth instead. Worked like a charm. I have never made a pot roast that has come out like this... I threw in a couple of sad looking parsnips I had hiding in the fridge... I even had the fresh herbs lying aroun...

These were great. I did have to bake them longer than the recipe calls for I made about 7# of wings(I cut them into drumettes/wings). I followed the recipe as directed but used seasoned salt which is a law in our house when making wings. The olive oil was nice. By the time they were about done baking, they hadn't browned up as much as I would...

This was pretty good. The pork was a bit dry, I think from the high cooking temp. I only baked it maybe an hour before I started testing the temp and then pulled it out early. Regardless of me watching it like a hawk, I just think the heat was too high. The stuffing... now THAT, I thought was great...and I am NOT an apple sauce & pork kind o...

This is a keeper! Can't beat the simplicity. I used my food processor to get it extra smooth. Made no changes at all except to reduced fat (2%) versions of the sour cream, shredded cheese and cottage cheese. One thing I noted is that it seemed a little salty. While I didn't read the packages, I'm betting it has to do with the reduced fat ...

This wasn't bad... but it wasn't exactly what I'd hope it would turn out to be. I found this recipe in one of Paula's cookbooks... but the simmering time in the book (1 hr) didn't sound right... so I came here to poke around... supposed to simmer meat mixture for 30 minutes before adding beans & tomatoes with 20 minutes to go. These were a hit @ an event for kids & adults. Based on some reviews, I decided to decrease the amount of butter by 1/2 when sauteeing the onions and when making the cracker crumb mixture.
