Whenever I make these , they are literally gone in minutes. I have never put the parsley in them, as I ALWAYS forget to grab it when I am at the store, but would love to try them with it. Also when I am in a hurry I will just use a bit of onion powder instead of the grated onion."

I loved this recipe. This was absolutely the best gravy I have ever tasted and this will be the gravy recipe we use from now on. I used salted butter because thats was what we had on hand and still wasn't too salty. We also did not add the cognac, wine or heavy cream as this was a last minute recipe for us on Thanksgiving but it still turned out great....
