It was pretty decent. I was looking for something different and decided to try this. I am not normally a fan of beans but they surprised me. The contrast between the beans the salty, herby meat, and the honey thyme was great. "

I really enjoyed this dish. I did not use the fennel because the store was out so I took a chance and used tarragon instead. I really found the dish to be full of flavor and just delish! I would make this again.

I'm not sure about this recipe. Usually boiled peanuts are done with GREEN or RAW peanuts NOT dry roasted. If you are using the dry roasted ones (although I strongly urge you not to) the cooking time will be far more than this recipe states. Love your show...but on this one I don't think you hit the mark.
