Reviewed Carrot and Pineapple Cake
"I bake many of Ina's recipes quite frequently and I made this cake just as Ina's recipe suggested with only one change - I used apple sauce instead of the oil. (I was trying to cut calories/fat). I don't know if this changed the texture since it was my first time making it, the cake was moist but really heavy and dense - so much so we could only eat a little of it. Does anyone know if this was the reason for the cake's heaviness? Susiq
