"Excellent recipe. I used some chicken broth to add just a little more liquid near the end but that was because I drained the beans on accident. This was a huge hit with 4 hungry men. Paul never disappoints! Does anyone know if Paula wants to adopt a 39 year old?

"Would never make again. I am a well above average cook and wanted to give this recipe a try. The consistency was terrible and the flavor was awkward at best. The following day I made Paula Dean's taco soup - that was a 5-star recipe!
