I love this recipe but I add one "huge" twist...I put 6 strips of "Thick" smoked bacon over the bird the first 2 hours till bacon is cooked! Put bacon after temp is turned down to 325degress..Baste the bird every 1/2 hr....The "juiciest" Turkey EVER...

While I gutted my way thru the show and all the ego's talking over each other...NO gravy recipe? Cooking with meat thermometer was huge...Skip the skype and dumb tweet questions? Maybe, answer good e-mail question's in advance...I put Thick smoked Bacon over My Turkey...pure Genius...
