It was crispy and tasted ok but my entire oven was covered in oil. I heard it popping a few minutes after I put it in and I hurried and put a piece of foil loosely over the pan. There was some on my oven but the mess on the foil was incredible so thank heavens I covered it. No amount of good taste can make up for having to clean the oven IMHO. ""

I followed other's advice and made the tomatoes into spaghetti sauce by adding a pinch of basil, garlic powder, dried parsley, and sugar after I put them in the food processor. I too added garlic powder and we loved it. I served it with Melissa's roasted tomato dipping sauce only I added a pinch of basil and a tiny bit of sugar and used it as spaghetti sauce.
