Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey
"There's a reason why this recipe has 5 stars with 4,156 reviews. I usually cook turkeys differently but this year I decided to brine this time. And of course, I had to go with Alton Brown's recipe. I actually didn't allspice so I substituted with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. I also didn't have rosemary and sage so I used thyme and bay leaves. The "

Reviewed Spring Green Risotto
"VERY time consuming but it's definitely worth it! She said making risotto is therapeutic and man it is! The husband thought I was taking forever, but when I was done he wanted seconds! Thanks Ina for an amazing recipe!
On a side note: These are not ingredients I have on hand like she said in the episode. I had to buy literally everything. "

I also used whole wheat flour. Skipped the glaze (we don't need the extra sugar!) It was a great hit. The mister asked me to make it again! That's a first!
"Very nice! I did it without corn, but with cucumbers and bell peppers and it was delicious! Also, I used the reduced fat mayo from Trader Joe's. Definitely a must try for carrot lovers!
