"this are really good. i dont think you can all them whole grain if you use white flour. i did this time because the last whole wheat ones i made nobody liked. i used applesauce instead of oil and next time i will leve out the cinnamon and add vanilla. if it had truly been whole grain, i would've given it 5 stars.

"this cake is awesome. my daughter and i made this for our husbands as they love fruitcake and they say its the best ever. we soaked it for 3 weeks every 3 days with a basting brush so it was a little strong. will spritz next time. it was a little time consuming chopping the fruit but definitely worth it. thanks alton!
