I served it warm with chopped oregano, basil and scallions. The little bit leftover was even better the next day as the cheese had firmed up even more. I wou"

Perfect for weekend barbecue. Used 8 ounces of frozen corn kernels and fresh asparagus. Otherwise, didn't change a thing. Even better the next day - marinade really worked into the veggies. Similar to three-bean salad without the beans!"

Loved it. For those who want to avoid "bitter taste" do not grate the white pith of the lemon onto the chicken. Just the yellow part only!"

Reviewed Cranberry Orange Scones

The 2 tablespoons of baking powder made these scones inedible. It was a huge disappointment and a big waste of money. My husband's first reaction was: This tastes like metal!

Reviewed Caramelized Butter Tarts

Dec 11, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Assume one should also dock the bottoms before baking to keeping from puffing up. Also, I substituted 1 teaspoon of vanilla for the mystery vanilla bean. I know the chef said the recipe...

Reviewed Roasted Tomato Soup with Croutons

Dec 3, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is not the time to use cheap, supermarket balsamic. The results will be vinegary and harsh. I used good old Kirkland balsamic. Good balsamic tastes smooooth on its own.

Also, puree in a blender until it is really smooth. It will pulverize all the tomato skin. I used the full 2 cups of basil -no problems there, either....
