"Folks, this is a recipe for cornbread.... not sweet corn muffins like a blueberry muffin or similiar. No one in the south puts much sugar into real cornbread... maybe a tsp or two. Don't like sugar biscuits or sugar rolls with a meal... same with cornbread. After all, it is a bread, not a dessert bread or a sweet loaf pan bread. Please realize"

"Wow...this is delicious. I added a little fine-diced onion. TRY THIS! Next time I made this I used a small box of Frozen Chopped Broccoli, thawed and at room temp. So, so very good also. Easy to tweak this recipe to your own liking. I love to experiment after I have made the recipe as wriltten. Such fun in the kitchen! Thanks, Paula."
