Was it good? Yes. Was it knock your pants off stinkin' good like the show and some others made it seem? No. Used kaiser instead of brioche (although I was sad to do so because I had some frozen brioche dough in the freezer). Wasn't too hard but it does need more sauce. The boyfriend and I are thinking bbq next round..."

Great idea! I made these and dipped some in chocolate for a holiday gift basket. A little too rich/sweet for some. I might sub in a less sweet pie crust for the base and add the topping. I think it would be awesome with the gold brick chocolate pecan pie filling as well for a pretty contrast/change."

There is about 2 1/2 tbs. too much of coconut extract! It was burning and used the whole expensive bottle. (I think it should be tsp). Made it as an end for a dinner for my pregnant aunt and felt like there was almost dangerous levels of etoh. Texture good and with adjustments delish!"
