Reviewed Beet-Orange Salad
"Excellent, easy and festive salad. I added creamy goat cheese and served it with Parmesan toast points for a super luncheon. Gorgonzola, Roquefort or other blue cheese would also work well."
I was born and raised into an Italian family so I love to cook and to eat good food. That said I'm partial to, but not limited to Italian food/cooking. I prefer simple meals with fresh, readily available ingredients. I'm more likely to cook if I don't have to go on a scavenger hunt to prepare dinner. I also like to stick close to a Mediterranean diet. Of course cheating on so called "bad" foods is allowed, but not on a regular basis. Variety is good. My big indulgence is fruit based desserts. A meal isn't complete without finishing with something sweet.
Italian tops my list and also any type of vegetable...especially grilled.
