"I simmered the sauce for about 1-1/2 hours, but think next time I'll make it an all day sauce. Very simple to make, loved that he uses dried spices vs fresh ( I don't buy fresh spices)! I doubled the recipe, but instead of using 2-med onions, I only used 1-1/2 (2-1/4" x 3-1/4" diam) and it was still too much. As previously posted, in the future I"

"I used 3 serrano chili peppers vice the 2 jalapenos with success! But I found 2T(tablespoons of cumin to be WAY too overwhelming! I'll cut the cumin in half in the future, otherwise a good easy comfort food with a 4* star rating. "
