"Definitely not a lo-cal dish...it is very rich, but hey Paula isn't known for diet food. This is a great crowd pleaser for Sunday brunch. Even better, you make it the evening before! I've made this several times, and it's great with King's Hawaiian Bread or Challah instead of the French bread suggested in the recipe. Also, I have omitted the light corn syrup in the praline topping, and it does not have an effect on the flavor or consistency. "
Reviewed Lemon-Garlic Shrimp and Grits
"Grits were delish, and I will definitely use this grits recipe as a side for short ribs or some other saucy dish. Great flavors with the shrimp, and the short cook time will make it a regular for a weeknight meal. I think this would be great with a layer of sauteed spinach! "
