Reviewed french silk pie

Mar 7, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

The flavors were really amazing but I could not give this recipe 5 stars because the mixture was grainy. I actually stopped halfway through the egg mixing process and put it in the oven for a few minutes to melt it somewhat. I recommend melting the chocolate over a double boiler and only letting it cool slightly before adding it to the mixture....

Reviewed Apple Galette with Goat Cheese, Sour Cherry, and Almond Topping

Jun 18, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a great recipe and I would recommend to anyone who loves apples. I did change my ingredients slightly though. Instead of goat cheese I mixed a 1/2 cup of sour cream in with the apples as they were cooling down to put into the puff pastry. I'm not a huge fan of goat cheese and by mixing in the sour cream it turned out more like open fac"

Great and fun recipe to do with kids. I used white chocolate and milk chocolate chips because that is what I had on hand. I let my daughter do the decorating. She had a blast and they taste delicious! Reminds me of the ones you can get at Disneyland. I used a double boiler instead of the microwave and I did have to reheat the chocolate once th"

Reviewed Almost-Famous Swedish Meatballs

I really did not care for these meatballs. They were tender, but the flavors didn't mesh together the way I was expecting them too. I love Swedish meatballs, but not this recipe. If you are making this recipe however you should double the gravy if you want extra."

Reviewed Chicken Quesadillas

The best quesadilla's I've ever had! Adding taco seasoning is a great idea to give it more flavor. I dipped it in salsa instead of making the pico mixture bc my husband doesn't like tomatoes. I also pounded my chicken flat so that it would cook a little faster. I would highly recommend this recipe!"

This was really good and everyone loved it! We used hoagie rolls instead of buns and we added either ranch or mayo to the rolls. Great flavor! Will definitely make again! thanks Ree, you ROCK!"

Reviewed Grilled Cheese with Spinach and Pancetta

Aug 7, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a really great sandwich with good flavors. I used bacon instead of pancetta bc I like bacon better. One thing I would do next time is make the bacon more on the crispy side because it tends to get squishy when you mix everything together and melt it. Tastes just like a grilled cheese!"

A very delicious recipe if you love chocolate! Super moist with tons of flavor. The raspberries cut the sweetness of the waffles and is a nice addition. You don't need very much of the chocolate sauce syrup though. I could see how adding to much would be overwhelming! Bananas or strawberries would be tastey on this as well!"

Reviewed Brown Butter Apple Crostata with Apple Cider Caramel Sauce

Apr 4, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a super delicious dish! It tasted like apple pie in a way and the caramel sauce was a great addition. A previous review stated that they used apple cider vinegar in the caramel, but the recipe says just use apple cider so make sure you don't mistake that or else your sauce will probably end up sour as vinegar is rather strong. It does...

Mar 12, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The best flakey biscuits ever! These were perfect and exactly what you expect a biscuit to be. I used a little over 1 cup of buttermilk and it was just the right amount. I cooked them in a le crusset cast iron baking dish bc I didn't have a cast iron skillet. I cooked them about 5 min longer than she said to, but that could be due to the dish...
