Reviewed Foolproof Standing Rib Roast

"I'm a little doubtful. Cheesecake and choux pastry left in the oven - okay, but a partially cooked 40 dollar roast? Sorry, can't take that chance, even though I've used a smoker time and time again, there was always the "purifying" aspect of heat and smoke. This kind of sounds like feeling a bit queasy after eating. Can't take the chance. Looking elsewhere.

About Me

worked as caterer for a good while, serving up everything from zuppa inglese and croque em bouche (sp?) to cowboy cookies and roasted chili pepper stew and vegen chili (musicians - can't ever guess!)  Also, studied and followed The Art of French Cooking, made wedding cakes and went through all of the cake decorating classes.  But, I think what most helped was being a southern cook, coming from a southern background (I didn't know what a Little Debbie cookie was - all our cookies were homemade or Oreos), and being poor and making what my husband likes to call, "a gourmet meal out of 25 cents and what's left in the fridge."
