For those who need help...the salt is a crust that you can take off and the vegetables are just aromatics. He does not use them. This is delicious.

All you need to know is that these are delicious...easy...and really not time consuming if you've already made the instant pancake mix and have it on hand. Perfect as is. You won't need to worry about the instant mix expiring because you'll be making a lot of these!

Good with a little extra love. Used some garlic oil for the potatoes and extra garlic. This gave the potatoes and escarole a wonderful flavor. Seasoned the fish with Emeril's Original Essence...seriously good seasoning on anything and everything. Don't overcook the fish it happens fast and it did get a little mushy...maybe a firmer halibut would have...

Great! Delicious...simple recipe with all the flavors accenting one another. Even more simple if you already have pesto on hand. Easy recipe to remember and throw together during the summer. This dressing tastes amazing! I think I grated my cheese too fine and ended up a little thicker than I would like but that is my doing and not a fault of the recipe. Next time I'll just keep an eye on the thickness better :) After having this you won't be able to taste the difference between a dressing with or without egg in it.
