We've made this before, but my wife made this for dinner last night and it was the best so far. We're having it again tonight. I can't wait. "

I watched Anne Burrell make this yesterday, and it looked so good, I had to try it. And it gave me a good reason to use the new mandolin my wife gave me for my birthday :) The recipe turned of perfect. When I flipped it upside down, the top was absolutely beautiful, and it tasted great too. I pretty much followed the directions. The only issue was"

This recipe is delicious. Maybe I did something wrong the first time I made it, but the cream just kind of drained to the bottom of the pan, so the second time I made this, I made a roux, 3 tbs of flour and 3 tbs of butter, added 1 cup of milk, in addition to the 3/4 cup of cream, and it was just what it needed. I also added chopped garlic and a ...

My wife and I have made this 4 times now, and its always been good. We made it a couple of days ago, and decided to brine the chicken first. We brined it for about 18 hours in one gallon of water, 1/2 cup of table salt, and 1/2 cup of sugar. We browned it in 2 tbs of bacon fat. OMG, it was so good. This wasn't just the best chicken I've ever had,...

Reviewed Gnocchi in the Style of Sorrento: Gnocchi all Sorrentina

My wife and I made this last night. I just wanted to say that I thought that the gnocchi recipe is excellent, but I want to comment on the sauce. This is the best sauce I've ever had. We made it with plum tomatoes we grew and canned ourselves. The sauce was so rich, and sweet from the carrot. This will be our tomato sauce recipe from now on. ""

My wife and I made this last night. I just wanted to say that I thought that the gnocchi recipe is excellent, but I want to comment on the sauce. This is the best sauce I've ever had. We made it with plum tomatoes we grew and canned ourselves. They were San Marzano tomatoes that my dad got seeds for about 25 years ago, and we've just been keeping...

Fantastic recipe. We had this for dinner last night with grilled Swiss cheese sandwiches on homemade Italian bread. We changed the recipe a little. We used yellow onion, and 1/2 canned San Marzano tomatoes and 1/2 last years canned tomatoes from our garden. I woke up this morning thinking about how good it was. LOL. "

My wife and I have made this 3 times. We absolutely love it. The first time I made it with Cabernet Sauvignon, the second with Merlot (which wasn't as good), and the third I went back to Cabernet Sauvignon. All 3 times were delicious. The last time I made it, instead of just mixing the flour and butter in, I made a roux, and took some of the liqui"
