Excellent! The carrots & tomatoes I used had a hint of sweetness which added great flavor to the soup. I added 4 small diced Yukon gold potatoes & sweet frozen corn. I did not have thyme or spinach so I used fresh flat leaf parsley & the soup was delicious. My husband had 2 bowls & did not miss having meat. :) Thanks Ellie for a tasty & heal...

EXCELLENT!!! Tip: Use the best pure vanilla extract available. I used Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract. It's expensive but worth it.""

Yummy! Instead of chopping veggies I sliced them in half once & left skin on. Once they came out of the oven I removed the skin from everyone & processed. I love the roasted flavors.""

Wow! A lot of work but worth the end result. Very rich and creamy. Next time, I will use a cooked rotisserie chicken to cut down on the time & add more peas. I also will try lump crab meat instead of chicken. My favorite part is the crunchy topping. Tip: measure out & chop everything before beginning. DIVINE!"

Excellent! They are light, airy and melt in your mouth delicious. I let my batter rest for about 45 minutes before I used it. I also put a few blueberries on top right before I closed the waffle iron. Only pure maple syrup will do these beauties justice :)"

Awesome!! The best I ever made. If you don't have a scale Alton has the same recipe using cup measurements. Tip: keep everything super cold & only mix to combine. Turn dough onto floured plastic wrap or waxed paper & use the wrap or paper to gather into a round mound. Be gentle & handle dough as little as possible. If it is too stcky sprinkl"

Tasty. The nuts taste good but overpower the other items in the topping. I used unsalted nuts & the end product was not salty tasting. I prefer the traditional coffee cake without the nuts & a little more moist. However, Alex's is a nice twist."

Soooo tasty & comforting! I reduced the recipe & everything tasted great. I used 2 large eggs, 1/4 c lowfat milk, 3 slices of Cinnabon cinnamon bread, & half of everything else listed. I also added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon & a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg. I dipped both sides of bread in the mixture & cooked in butter. I also carmalized a ripe b"

Excellent filling! I used a pre-made pie crust & did not make struesel. I like my bottom crust crispy & brown, so next time I will bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes. The filling is great on its own. Love it. :)"

I accidentally made a plum pie instead of tart :) I used too many plums. The crust is great! I added cinnamon, nutmeg & salt to the crust mixture & used pecans instead of walnuts. Caution: Only make if you have sweet, ripe fruit. My plums were sour so I put sugar on them & added a few dried apricots but they were still sour after cooking. Next...
