I've made this recipe two times. It's simple if you buy a bag of already shredded cabbage. It's delicious. I double the "sauce" because it's great as a dip or a savory yogurt for breakfast. Thanks for the great dinner idea!

I've been making this for several years now. I usually have everything on hand except the chili sauce so I don't add that. The chicken is so tender and flavorful. I make the rice in a rice cooker and add more vegetables than just the broccoli but this is so good, you should try it."

This must be an old southern recipe, maybe from the depression, because my mom has been making these for years using canned salmon. I make them too, and Paula's recipe is the basic recipe.

I add a TBSP of lemon juice if I've got a lemon on hand, and sometimes use 2 eggs. Add pepper. It really does help them hold together better...
