Reviewed italian chicken salad in lettuce cups

17 hours ago on

I have made this twice and gave it a B+. I have it ready again tonight and the vinegarette is so odd. I think you definitely need to doctor that part up. I've added more honey and a tiny bit of Dijon. I also used a high end olive oil. Hoping tonight's is a little better

Made this last night and it is outstanding! Going to bring it to thanksgiving and double it. Took my neighbor half last night and immediately got a YumYum text! Go easy on the sherry vinegar at the end, maybe a Tbls. I made the spice from epicurious on line - very easy. You're so talented GZ!!!

This was really good with some fall off the bone BBQ baby back ribs! I used sour cream because I didn't have creme fraiche and used prepared horseradish added to the dressing. It needed a bit of sweetness so added 1/4tsp sugar. Will always make this with pork ribs!

I have made this twice since the show. It is so so good and yes, the dressing is fantastic so dress it while warm. Second time I added less than a tsp of honey that was also great. Makes me want it tonight just rating it!

This is without a doubt the best banana bread I've ever had or made. It wasn't too sweet and the blueberries gave it a nice added taste. I did run to get fresh blueberries and I also used 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and 1 cup of all purpose. It came out SO good! Be making this again soon. Thanks Giada!

Made it for superbowl yesterday and it was just ok. The only thing I did different other than using 4 cups of broth and 2 cans of beans was to deglaze with red wine. It was a Pinot so maybe it should have been a hardier variety. Needed seasoning even though it sat over night. See if I can doctor it up for tonight"

Made this for the 4th of July BBQ - absolutely delicious. FYI, since the almond meal/flour is so expensive you can make your own in a little food processor by using blanched almonds. Scrape down the sides now and then so it doesn't turn to a paste. Worked perfect AND was only $2.59 rather than $11.59 - Good job Giada!"
