Reviewed Chicken Stock

This recipe is absolutely fabulous! Don't skip the parsnips. I've tried the recipe without them and they really do improve the flavor.
The only thing I change is the chicken - purchasing several whole chickens (and then tossing them) is very costly. I use several pounds wings/thighs and roasted/rotisserie chicken carcasses.

delicious!! be sure to marinate over night and reserve some of the marinade to drizzle after grilling. we've made at least once a week this summer and can't seem to get enough of it. "

Reviewed Italian Wedding Soup

the best wedding soup recipe, hands down. the chicken sausage/ground chicken mixture makes really flavorful meatballs. don't skip these and use beef... i've tried it and it over powers the delicate flavor of the soup.
also - use home stock from ina's recipe. it's really worth the extra effort."

eh, they were okay. i really liked the technique of grilling the wings, because it produced an incredibly moist piece of meat. but as far this recipe goes, it wasn't really anything special. the flavor was decent, but there was no heat, no kick. i may try this again, but tweak the dry rub or sauce bit to add some spice.

LOVED this! I added a bit extra garlic because we like things really flavorful and sliced crimini mushrooms for more "meat." I was so happy to finally find a "lightened up" recipe that actually has flavor. This will be a staple in our home!""

awesome! i made this a day early so the flavors had time to "marry" and couldn't have been happier. the only thing i changed was add dried oregano and crushed red pepper to the sauteed garlic and onions because we like things to be very flavorful.

oh, btw, the pepper is mispelled - it's a cubanelle pepper, which would explain...

This is my go-to banana bread recipe!! Over the years, I've learned to use 3 bananas and sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon and sugar on top before baking. I usually make mini loaves or muffins so I can freeze some of it - I've found mini loaves and muffins usually bake within 35-40 minutes.
