My Activity

Reviewed Portobello Mushroom Lasagna

"It was all around a good tasting dish, but I wouldn't say outstanding which gets 5 stars from me. Me,my husband, and four children really liked it. To find a recipe that we all like is hard to do. I think the nutmeg was a bit much, and for our taste I will use a 1/2 tsp instead of the whole tsp it calls for."

Reviewed Nonna Luna's Rice

"This is very, very, and I mean very delicious, and sooo good! I thought it would be okay, but the family cleaned it all out, and raved about it. I was watching her show and saw it, and it sounded pretty good!Giada usually has great Italian recipes."

Reviewed Grilled Shrimp Scampi Style with Soy Sauce, Fresh Ginger and Garlic

"This was sooo delicious! Everyone loved it including my 4 children - which 2 of them are very picky! Will be making this one again :) I added TBSP's of honey instead of tsp's, and added lime zest from the 2 limes that was juiced. I saw from the other comments that there was alot of the sauce left over, so I spooned on top what the shrimp needed in a bowl mixed the shrimp until well coated, and then heated the remaing sauce in a small saucepan, removed from the heat and added a good handful of finely chopped parsely to the sauce. Then tossed with hot angel hair pasta, and added the shrimp.Grill was out of gas so I broiled mine, and they were great!"
