My Activity

Reviewed Tuscan White Bean and Garlic Soup

"The flavor of this soup is good, however this did not make enough soup for my family of 5! I did follow the advise from other reviewers and cut back the chicken broth to 3 cups and added extra sage (I used dry sage because it's what I had on hand) and extra garlic. I used my immersion blender to puree the soup right in the pot. This soup was still very thin and runny, next time I will used the 4 cups of chicken broth but add an extra can of beans. This is a very simple recipe that can be easily adjusted and has a ton of flavor!!

Reviewed Italian Wedding Soup

"I love soup, but I did not care for this one. The overpowering taste of the dill was too much for my taste and the strong robust flavor of the pecorino romano was also too much for the meatballs. We had it one night and had plenty left over for another night but I just couldn't serve this to my family again, it was pretty hard to swallow! If I made this again I would eliminate the dill all together, I've decided I do not like dill at all."
