Reviewed Lily's Marble Cake
"Twinkle Lady - 3/6/2011 - I made this cake about a month ago and was definitely disappointed in the results. I am a 'senior lady' baking for many many years and decided to try it again because my husband requested a Marble Cake. This time I added more vanilla (2 tsp), used 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup sour cream.I did not have any cocoa so substituted 1 square of Bakers' Chocolate, 2 tbl. butter, 1 tsp. coffee granules, and 1/2 cup of chocolate chips melted together. Baking time is dependent on your oven, but it was done in 45 minutes.
It was moist and had lots of flavor -- will definitely make it again but it did (in my opinion) need tweaking. "
