My Activity

Reviewed The Puffy

"These cookies are great, although one time I made them they were a little grainy (you need to "cream" the sugar longer than I had that time) and another time they didn't puff (I didn't have a wire rack handy and they just flattened on me. I would also use a pinch less salt. Also, surprised to see Alton using a volume measure rather than a weight measure for the flour, sugar, salt. The taste is definitely there, and these are my favorite cookies ever.

Reviewed Ring of Fire Grilled Chicken

"This is the best chicken ***** I have ever had and that sentiment is shared by everyone I have made it for. Made this probably 10 times this summer. There is one problem with this recipe though. Being an AB fan I always weigh things like salt & flour, my mother-in-law, not so much, when she tried this recipe with 3/4 cup of Kosher Salt she complained about how salty it was. The next time I made it I weighed the Kosher Salt and then measured it, it came out to about 1/3 of a cup (big difference. Don't have a charcoal grill, no problem use propane and at about 450 degrees the breasts will cook in around 25 - 28 minutes (always use a thermometer to check the temp..
