About Me

I believe I was born to bake, lol.  I started with brownies and chocolate chip cookies. And I do have a great recipe for Gobs from our neighbors by our old farm in Pennsylvania near Sandpatch.  Baking not only relaxes me after a grueling week but shares my love.  Anybody who knows me, knows that I show my love through baking and sharing.  Jewish Apple cake, crustless cheesecake, brownies, cookies.

I am a full time college student, part time employee, full time mother to all.  The youngest of a large family and now with my 54th birthday peeking around the corner, I wonder how I am going to finish this associates degree in criminal justice.

Favorite Foods

I love to fix steamed shrimp, simple yet delicious.  Crab cakes come next to mind, I'm lucky to have a daughter that loves to pick 'em, but not eat them!

I am famous for my Jewish Apple cake and cheesecakes.  I have been making both for a few decades now.  Anybody who knows me knows I show my love through my sharing of baked goods. When I find a new recipe, like chocolate decadent cake, well, somebody has to help me decide if its a keeper!

My favorite restaurant was Steak and Ale.  I worked in one for a while in Ft. Myers.  Consistency was one of the best things about the place.  For years I celebrated my birthday there until it closed.
