“I followed the directions exactly. The Turkey looked beautiful. The turkey tasted very good but I used a thermometer ( the same one that Alton Brown used) and followed the directions, removing the turkey at 161 degrees, and the inside was not done enough. I will make this recipe again, just leaving the turkey in for a bit more"”

"Can I re-use the seals?
The ball book says to boil the jars for 10 minutes but the ball pamphlet say to wash the jars with soap/water, then keep hot. Which is the better way?
Is it ok if I boil the jars, lids, utensils, etc..also?
