This is absolutely delicious. Used a little less red wine than the recipe called for and a little more carrots to balance out the amount of the rest of the veggies. I don't think that really affected the overall flavor though. Really really yummy."

This was so yummy and so easy to make. I used EVOO instead of canola (more flavor). My only critique would be that there was lots of the dredge left over, which I hated having to throw out, and not quite enough sauce. But we all gobbled it up regardless. Will definitely make this again."

I wasn't sure what I was going to think of this recipe after some of the negative comments, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is pretty delicious. I cut the oil in half as others suggested, and I "deconstructed" the dressing - added each ingredient to the salad instead of making the dressing just because I didn't want to pull out the "

I have to admit that I didn't follow this recipe to a "t" because I cut it in half, took some suggestions from other reviewers (i.e. use more onion), and used prepackaged jalapeno and cheddar cornbread mini-loaves that were leftover from another meal instead of Paula's cornbread recipe. I am giving this recipe 4 stars since the tweaking had to h...

This sauce was pretty watery and bland. I let it cook a little longer to thicken, and in addition to the black pepper I added 1/2 t. salt, pinch of nutmeg and a clove of garlic, minced. Definitely improved the flavor and consistency. I also used a combination of parmeaan and romano cheeses. Romano has more kick. The three stars is for the re...

This is a very tasty recipe, but it might be a little too much heat for some people. Also, it was a little drier than you would expect a sweet potato casserole to be. I made it last Thanksgiving, and those of us who like smoky heat really enjoyed it.

This is the tastiest roast recipe! It was a little more work than we expected (the gravy took a while to cook), but it was so worth it.
